Ronnie Davis on Hot Streak

Can veteran Top Sportsman racer Ronnie Davis continue his recent streak of victories?

That's the question many Top Sportsman racers have been asking about Davis' string of final round appearances. Davis won his 3rd race in a row in less than 2 weeks last night at the Carolina Dragway Thursday Night Thunder competition, setting #1 qualifier with a 4.35 @ 170. Davis consistent display of 4.35,4.30, & 4.32 performances brought him to his 8th final round of 2006. He is on his way to besting his impressive 2005 stats of 17 final round appearances.

On May 20th, Davis took high honors in the Automatic Pro Mod Association meet at South Georgia Motorsports Park, his second final in three outings for that series. The Automatic Pro Mod Association was created by Davis early this year to give converter equipped Pro Mods the chance to race heads up.

Davis also took the win light at the IHRA Division 2 race in Douglas, GA and currently leads the Top Sportsman points chase in NHRA Division 2, making the final round in 3 of 4 outings.Will Ronnie Davis maintain this momentum and keep the Top Sportsman field at bay?
